Steve Bowditch has been a cornerstone of Nationwide Lift Services for over 20 years, joining the company even before our Managing Director Paul Robinson took over the reins. During this time, Steve has been instrumental in our journey and a true asset to our team. His impressive career has spanned a wide range of expertise, including the installation, repair, modernisation, and maintenance of every kind of lift imaginable. From passenger lifts to goods lifts, Steve has tackled it all with skill, precision, and dedication, truly embodying the role of an expert lift engineer.
Throughout the years, we’ve had the pleasure of watching Steve grow from an ambitious technician to a true “lift genius.” His knowledge and skills are unparalleled, and he’s earned the trust of clients across many sectors, from local care homes to large national retailers. Steve’s commitment to excellence ensures that our clients receive the highest standard of service, every time. His journey as a lift engineer has been remarkable.
Before joining Nationwide Lift Services, Steve brought his talents to a variety of prestigious roles, including work in mining. These experiences gave him a unique technical foundation that has become invaluable to our team. At Nationwide, he’s not only applied his expertise in his projects but has also taken on a mentorship role, guiding newer engineers and collaborating closely with suppliers. Steve is always willing to go the extra mile to help our team thrive, sharing his knowledge and passion for the industry with those around him. This mentorship has solidified his reputation as a seasoned lift engineer.
As a valued member of our team, Steve embodies the dedication and loyalty that make Nationwide Lift Services exceptional. And now, after decades of hard work, he’s preparing for a well-deserved break. Starting in January 2025, Steve will embark on a three-and-a-half-month world cruise, a chance for him to unwind, recharge, and enjoy new adventures. We’re thrilled for him and he’s looking forward to this time to relax, celebrating his impressive career as a lift engineer.
