Lift service call-outs

We understand that having a fully functioning lift can be important in both domestic, retail and corporate settings, not only is it a faster way to access buildings with lots of floors but it is important for accessibility.

Our in-house team of engineers, have lots of experience with all types of lifts and are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you have a problem and need an emergency call out we will do our very best to get there as soon as possible and help to resolve your issue.

Traditional lift maintenance & Lift Services

Lifts are just like cars in the sense that every 12 months or more frequently depending on usage, they need lift servicing carried out. This will include checks and some maintenance to ensure that the lift is working correctly and reduces the chance of faults or breakdowns. We can also offer our customers flexible maintenance packages to minimise downtime throughout the year and maximise performance.

LOLER Inspections

We are able to carry out Loler inspections as just another of our lift services, these can be carried out in intervals by an engineer in a detailed examination of the parts and equipment.

What happens during a Loler inspection?

A visual inspection will first be carried out to look for any signs of damage, and then a closer inspection of parts will be examined for wear or degradation that can happen over time. The engineer will also do some non-destructive testing and load testing for commercial or goods lifts.

Once the inspection is completed the engineer will put together an in-depth report on any issues, and faults and recommend any repairs or replacement parts that are needed.

Case Study: Supermarket Retail Customer

Last year we secured a new maintenance contract with a highly reputable supermarket company who have numerous sites within the Midlands and a mixed portfolio of goods lifts, escalators, conveyors and passenger lifts. We are proud to provide a fast response time for breakdowns which is essential for these lifts ensuring both shoppers and goods can be transported.

Our engineers completed a full risk assessment for every lift when we took over the contract and we were able to find several potential issues. This customer has since invested in their portfolio by completing repair works and has seen a dramatic reduction in the number of callouts which ultimately allows their business to operate more efficiently. It has also helped ensure that each lift is compliant with the latest health and safety legislation.
We spend more time on site ensuring that we find the root cause of the problem, which in turn helps reduce downtime of lifts and saves our customers money.
