LOLER Assistance – Make LOLERS Less Stressful

Regulation 9 states that it is the duty holder’s legal responsibility to ensure that LOLER inspections are carried out for all lifts at the correct intervals. Furthermore, it is the duty holder’s responsibility to send a copy of the completed LOLER report to their current lift service provider. Needing help with your LOLERS? Nationwide Lifts can provide LOLER assistance.

We have also been efficient at providing LOLER inspection assistance.

We work around the clock to ensure your lifts are up to shape. Furthermore, we are 24/7 and all calls go to one of our staff members, rather than a call centre. We loved the creativity with this project, and we are sure the design of the lift gets residents and staff talking.

college in staffordshire

College In Staffordshire Lift Refurbishment

This week, we finished a lift refurbishment project for a college in Staffordshire. The lift was over 30 years old and in desperate need of an electrical and hydraulic upgrade. We needed to ensure the lift was safe and reliable. Before the lift refurbishment, the lift faced continuous breakdowns and long downtime.

What we did on site

Hydraulic Systems Upgraded

During our time working on the lift upgrade, we changed the complete hydraulic system to ensure the lift ran smoothly, safely and more efficient. We replaced the hydraulic tank, pump, valve block, oil and ram seals.

Control Panel Replaced

We replaced the control panel to a more modern and efficient lift control system with LIMAX levelling and great diagnostics for our engineers on site. The lift will now run in a much more reliable manner. All components we replace are open protocol and sourced in the UK.

Lift Door Operator Upgrade

We upgraded the old and unreliable door operator with an L&L operator package ensuring reliability on site for the long term.

Why You Should Get Your Lift Refurbished

Saving money in the long run – Old lifts are a lot more likely to breakdown, and the older it gets, the more it will breakdown, costing you more money in the long run and lots of downtime. If a lift is over 15 years old, we recommend getting your lift refurbished which normally includes the control system, door operator and hydraulic system.

More eco-friendly – Lift refurbishments are more eco-friendly as opposed to a new lift replacement as you only replace the main components. This saves throwing away lots of components and parts which is better on the environment.

Minimal Disruption for Your Business – This type of lift project causes less disruption; instead of dealing with the hassle of taking the lift out and putting a new one in, we simply replace the key components and parts. Delivery time is between 2 and 4 weeks.

We can normally upgrade a lift within one to two weeks, ensuring reduced downtime compared to new lifts. A new week can typically take over 8 weeks.
