At Nationwide Lift Services, when we aren’t busy fixing or modernising company lifts, we’re often attending meetings to secure future business or to increase our company’s exposure. We believe that arranging a meeting with local businesses helps both companies a lot. we also believe in visiting and most of all supporting local businesses. Doing this helps us build strong relationships with customers and establish our reputation as a respected lift company.

Last week, two of our employees, Jamie and Michael, attended a business meeting at Port Vale Football Club in Stoke. As a company based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, which is local to Stoke, a significant portion of our business comes from Staffordshire. Many of our engineers are avid football fans and regularly attend games at the stadium, as do many of our local customers. We also had our CEO Ken attend the meeting with us, who is shown in the image.

The staff at Port Vale were friendly, and we are hopeful about working with them in the near future. During our visit to Port Vale Stadium, we introduced our company and shared our vision. It was a pleasure to meet Laura Jennings, and we look forward to attending future matches and increasing our visibility in the community.

Today at Nationwide Lift Services, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting a site visit from Shorts Industries Ltd who supply part for lift doors & Langer & Laumann Ing.-Büro GmbH and witnessing an impressive demonstration inside their fully kitted out van.

This unique experience allowed us to dive deep into their latest product offerings, which are poised to make significant waves in the industry.
The demonstration was nothing short of amazing, showcasing the cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions they have developed.

From the moment we stepped into the van, it was clear that a tremendous amount of thought and expertise had gone into creating these products. Each feature was presented in detail, highlighting the practical applications and the significant impact these innovations can have on our operations.

Hull-based charity Aim Higher have recently done a charity walk. This has helped raise money for autism awareness and helping neurodiverse families. Nationwide Lifts have been longtime investors of Aim Higher and we love what they do.

Aim Higher empowers neurodiverse children, young people and their families across Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire.”

They are dedicated to providing neurodiversity, mental health, and educational support for families of children and young people aged 0-25 years. With a special focus on autism, they strive to create an inclusive and supportive community where every individual can thrive. they do this charity walk once a year.

Charity Run In Stoke

Stoke Charity Run Gives us a LIFT.

At Nationwide Lifts our very own Craig Corbett and his friends decided they wanted to do a charity run for a superb organisation in Stoke called Douglas MacMillan (or Dougie Mac as know locally).

Craig has worked for our business for 2 years and done all sorts of lift jobs including new lift installations, lift refurbishments and lift repairs. He also does lift service work and lift breakdowns in the Stoke and Staffordshire region.

Craig and his friends were very keen on raising money for Dougie Mac and managed to get over £1500 from family, friends, and colleagues.

Nationwide Lifts are fortunate to look after the lifts at these amazing sites who do such wonderful work for our community. Dougie Mac, have been caring for our community since 1973. They provide their hospice services free of charge to over 3,500 local people with life-limiting illnesses each year in Stoke-on-Trent, North Staffordshire and the surrounding villages, also offering supportive care to their families and carers.

Dougie Mac Hospice simply couldn’t survive without the generosity of the local communities of Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.

It costs over £19 million to run the hospice’s services free of charge every year, with 75% of this funding coming from supportive local people so let’s all keep raising money and supporting these amazing people and hospice.
